There are so many reasons why millions of people are choosing to eat more plant-based meals. Some do it for their health, while others do it for the planet. As we continue to learn how food can prevent chronic disease, more experts and public health organizations recommend incorporating more plant foods. Join Amy Shalongo, McCaffrey’s Catering Coordinator and Jill Kwasny, MS, RDN for “Flex Appeal: How to Enjoy more Plant-Based Meals.” Amy will “wow” you with a cooking demo, sharing helpful tips and techniques, as well as delicious and healthful samples. The class will be held on Thursday, July 11th from 10:15 to 11:15 am at the Mccaffrey’s Market in Blue Bell located at 1301 Skippack Pike. This program will also be held by Jill Kwasny on Thursday, July 18th at 10:00 – 11:00 am at the McCaffrey’s Market in Yardley located at the Edgewood Village Shopping Center at 635 Heacock Road in the upstairs bistro. The class will be repeated by Jill at 1:30 – 2:30 pm, also in the upstairs bistro area, at the McCaffrey’s in Princeton located in the Princeton Shopping Center at 301 N. Harrison Street.
