Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight can be a lifetime struggle. Research tells us that only about one in five individuals maintain weight loss long term. As traditional diets come under criticism, intuitive eating is a concept that is gaining popularity. Intuitive eating aims to break the constant cycle of dieting by recognizing the body’s natural signals of hunger, fullness, and satisfaction.
Join McCaffrey’s Registered Dietitian, Jill Kwasny , MS, RDN for a free and informative program on Intuitive Eating: A Non-Diet Approach to Healthful Eating. Jill will discuss the 10 principles of intuitive eating and reinforce the importance of listening to internal hunger cues. As always, Jill will share menu ideas, cooking techniques, and a delicious recipe to sample.
The program will be held on Thursday, April 20th at the McCaffrey’s in Yardley located in the Edgewood Village Shopping Center at 635 Heacock Road in the upstairs bistro from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
