Nutrition Event – Classic and Cozy: Redefining Comfort Food – West Windsor

There are foods we reach for in times of stress, happiness, when we are reminiscing, or when we need a hug. However, quite often these foods are laden with fat, salt, and calories. Not ideal for those watching their waistline and health.
Join McCaffrey’s Registered Dietitian, Jill Kwasny, for an informative and fun nutrition program “Classic and Cozy: Redefining Comfort Food.” Go down memory lane as you consider those foods that always make you smile. Can they be tweaked so that these dishes don’t have to be a guilty pleasure? As always, Jill will offer menu ideas, cooking techniques and share a delicious recipe to sample.
The program will be held on Thursday, October 26th at 1:30 – 2:30pm, in the upstairs bistro area at the McCaffrey’s Market in West Windsor in the Southfield Retail Center at 335 Princeton Hightstown Road.
