Nutrition Event – Classic and Cozy: Redefining Comfort Food – Yardley

There are foods we reach for in times of stress, happiness, when we are reminiscing, or when we need a hug. However, quite often these foods are laden with fat, salt, and calories. Not ideal for those watching their waistline and health.
Join McCaffrey’s Registered Dietitian, Jill Kwasny, for an informative and fun nutrition program “Classic and Cozy: Redefining Comfort Food.” Go down memory lane as you consider those foods that always make you smile. Can they be tweaked so that these dishes don’t have to be a guilty pleasure? As always, Jill will offer menu ideas, cooking techniques and share a delicious recipe to sample.
The program will be held on Thursday, October 26th at the McCaffrey’s in Yardley located at Edgewood Village Shopping Center at 635 Heacock Road in the upstairs bistro from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
