Newtown’s “street fair with flair” returns on Sunday, June 9 with a day packed with family fun, food, and live entertainment.
Newtown Welcome Day, presented by Capital Health and organized by the Newtown Business Association, will unfold along Sycamore Street between Jefferson Street and Durham Road from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine.
According to organizers, the day will bring “a delightful experience for all ages” to the street with a variety of activities, including food from local eateries, free entertainment, and fun for the kids.
At the heart of it all will be more than 125 vendors who will be setting up shop along Sycamore featuring arts, crafts, and spotlighting Newtown businesses.
This year’s event will feature an exciting lineup of free musical performances and on-stage demonstrations, including rock, Irish, country, and blues.
Welcome Day is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Newtown Business Association at info@newtownba.org.
