Newtown, PA – September 3, 2025
The Rotary Club of Newtown honored Jim McCaffrey, President of McCaffrey’s Food Markets, for his exemplary work in community service. Founded in 1957, the Society presents its “Paul Harris Fellow Award” to encourage and show appreciation for such work. This year’s award was presented to Jim. McCaffrey’s has donated every year to the Club’s Hope on the Vine Fundraising Gala and allowed their Club to hold bi-annual food drives in front of McCaffrey’s Newtown store.
“As a small, independent business, we are always happy to support people who do good work in the communities in which we serve,” says Jim McCaffrey. “Contributing to The Newtown Rotary Club, who in turn, partners with Newtown Fire Rescue, is a no-brainer for us. We are all in the business of helping our neighbors.”
“It was an honor for The Rotary Club of Newtown Pennsylvania USA to bestow Rotary International’s highest honor, The Paul Harris Fellow to a Bucks County icon, Jim McCaffrey of McCaffrey Markets,” says Steve Sabel, President of The Rotary Club of Newtown, PA.
