Langhorne, PA – 2/23/2023 – On February 23, 2023, Kiwanis® Club of Washington Crossing-Yardley presented a plaque to McCaffrey’s Food Markets for all their years of support. McCaffrey’s has been a consistent supporter of this organization since 2011 for their annual Golf Outing, and most recently, their Designer Bag Bingo. This is a first-time award the club is giving out to businesses that have supported Kiwanis and their fundraising Golf Outing and Bag Bingo events for 10 years or more.
“We are most grateful for the long-term support by Jim and his team at McCaffrey’s that helps the Kiwanis Club of Washington Crossing-Yardley serve the children of our local communities,” said Kiwanis President, Fred Duffner.
Kiwanis Club of Washington Crossing-Yardley has been helping underserved children in our community through fundraising and fellowship. They support many, amazing, local, non-profit organizations and community initiatives such as Family Services, Snipes Farm Education Center, Rolling Harvest, Habitat for Humanity, Upper Makefield Fire Company’s annual food drive, the Washington Crossing Park Internship, and the Bucks County Youth Orchestra. They have also given out more than $12,000 in scholarships.
“We are happy to be partnering with an organization such as the Kiwanis Club who share in our philanthropic mission of giving back to the communities in which we serve,” said McCaffrey’s President, James J. McCaffrey III.”
